Lunar Homestead isn’t affiliated with any government or academic organization. LH doesn’t spend valuable time trying to win hard to secure grants. LH isn’t founded, or backed, by a billionaire.
The Lunar Homestead slogan is “Lunar Settlement for Everyone”. Lunar Homesteading is a way for EVERYONE to be involved in making permanent human settlements on the Moon a reality. Unlike government or corporate activities, you can be more than just a spectator here. You can make a meaningful contribution.
We can’t rely on governments, academic organizations, and companies to drive Lunar (and space) settlement. They just don’t have the incentive to do it. We are the ones that want to see it happen so we are the ones that will have to make it happen. And it starts here.

Patreon is a membership processor. I like Patreon because they have an established community, their system is simple to use, and their fees are reasonable (a simple 5%). Plus, it’s free to create a Patreon account.
Buy Me a Coffee is very similar to Patreon. BMaC is free to use. You get all the same tiers and rewards as Patreon. BMaC accepts all major Credit Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, as well as local payment methods such as UPI in India. So, it’s really your choice which one to use.
